JAP Partnership
james and amy
JAP Partnership was founded in 2017. James manages the daily operations of the farm, while Amy handles the administrative tasks. James takes pleasure in milking and driving the tractor, appreciating well-fed cows and a neat farm. Amy loves caring for the calves and watching them grow. Their background as overseas-trained veterinarians is a significant advantage. When not on the farm, they enjoy traveling to explore more of the country, as well as playing tennis and volleyball. Fishing is another favorite pastime, likely influencing their decision to farm in Taranaki. Currently, they are sharemilking on a 470-cow farm in Hawera, entering their second season there. Last season, they achieved a production of 168,992 kgMS, an increase of 40,000 kgMS from the previous year, and reared 70 more replacement calves. They are thrilled with their progress and hope to maintain or improve their results. Additionally, they are Contract Milking a 390-cow farm in Patea.
